New Blog

I have started a new blog to help be remember all the applique designs I have used and give me ideas for other projects. For the last year I have been taking pictures of some of the things I have made and just wanted to compile them all together for reference purposes. The blog address is www.appliqueandembroidery.blogspot.com

Henry's birthday, part 3

On Labor Day, we braved the crowds and went to Incredible Pizza at 10:30 in the morning to be the first ones there. We took Meme, Paw Paw, Grammy, Pop and Aunt Lynne with us!
Henry loved Cookie Monster so that was his cake this year.
He had fun opening LOTS of gifts from everybody! Thanks for everything!

Henry's B-day, Part 2

Loves his new tools!

Going to Build a Bear.
In typical Henry fashion he got this hopper ball that you are supposed to sit and hold the handle and jump, but he invents his own fun!

Sept. 10, 2010

Abigail had her first spirit day at school. It was an exciting day, the kids got to wear jeans and a school t-shirt. They also attended a pep ralley at the high school. That night was elementary night at the football game, open house and book fair. It was crowded and very HOT but it was fun!

Henry actually wanted to be in the picture when he noticed that I was taking one of Abigail. He walked right over and stood next to her, I couldn't believe it. If I had asked him to be in it, you could forget it. I guess reverse psychology works well with him!

Sept. 2, 2010 Henry's B-day part 1

Breakfast
We went to eat at O'Charley's this night and came home to open the gifts from us.
We had cupcakes first, with candles again of course!
Had to have a bath after the blue icing before he was even allowed to tough his gifts. He was a mess!

The weather finally cooled off so we could bear being outside. We played outside after Abigail got home from school nearly everyday this week! Abigail liked to come home from school and pick out her own clothes, since I make her take off her uniforms as soon as she gets home.
Abigail decided to read to Henry outside.
Henry learned a new trick that he thought was pretty fun.
Having fun!
